Accounts is an important department of a company. Employers keep special attention while hiring an Accounts Staff for the organisation and expect good knowledge and skills in core accounting. Honesty is most important factor which an employers expects from an accounts executive while hiring.
Many job seekers opt to work as an Accountant tough in many cases they are not from the Commerce Educational Back ground. Such job seekers may get a job in Accounts department buy find it difficult to grow in their career due to lack of Educational back ground in Commerce field.
So the main Eligibility criteria is that a job seeker applying for Accounts Executive position should be from Commerce back ground.
Another important skill that an applicant much have ,”working experience on tally” which is widely used in most of the companies. Working experience and knowledge of another Accounting software would be an added advantage.
As per current market requirements , Some Knowledge or working experience on GST is required with out which many company won’t hire a candidate and even if any company hires such an applicant, the career journey becomes difficult with out knowledge of GST. So one must gain as much experience and training on GST which is on demand by most of the companies.
